Moralis meets Piraeus lawyers

Mayoral Candidate of Piraeus Yannis Moralis met with President of the Piraeus Bar Association George Stamatogiannis and Board members today, accompanied by lawyers who are prospective councilors with the "Piraeus Victor" combination that Moralis leads.

The discussion was focused on the issue of the transfer of the Piraeus courts, a matter of utmost importance, both for lawyers and citizens of Piraeus alike.

Mr. Moralis made it clear to representatives of the legal people of the city that they will be fighting by their side, in order to not move the Courts outisde the municipality, favoring their move, with a specific plan to the building on Ralleiou street. After the meeting, Mr. Moralis stated:

"What I personally guarantee to  you is that tomorrow morning - not just if elections take place and we are elected- we will be fighting, as a combination and in cooperation with select city organizations, to convince the government for what should be clear as day:; that the courts being moved outside the Piraeus municipality is unimaginable. All cities have courthouses and Piraeus' has a story. We will fight the good fight and everyone who makes these decisions should know, that we will not budge".
