Patras: 462 kg of hashish in refrigerator trucks
More than 460 kg of hashish were found following checks on a truck and a trailer in the western Greek city of Patras - The driver and co-driver were arrested
During inspections at the port of Patras, coast guard officials authorities discovered 311 plastic packages containing more than 354 kilos of hashish hidden in the interior of the refrigerator truck roof.
Authorities also inspected a warehouse in the area of Patras and found 99 packs containing more than 112 kilos of hashish hidden in a second refrigerated trailer.
The 54-year old driver of the truck and the 57-year old co-driver were arrested for drug possession, while investigation regarding the place of origin of the load continues.
Authorities estimate that the hashish load would be sent to another European country.
