Reactions regarding the school year extension
The Teacher Federation (OLME) announced 3-hour working stoppages on April 23, 24 and 25 against Education Ministry’s plans to extend teaching into the Easter holidays so as to compensate for time lost due to student occupations.
More specifically, the federation has announced walk outs between 8am and 11am for the 23rd, 24th and 25th of April at schools where teaching is expected to carry on during the holidays.
