Stavros Theodorakis: We are under attack by Internet trolls

With his backback full of promise, Stavros Theodorakis flew to Brussels in order to negotiate which political team his party will be a part of in the European parliament, after the upcoming Elections in May.

Stavros Theodorakis travelled economy class on an Aegean flight, where he was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be accompanied by 20 Greek journalists on mission to Brussels!

The leader of "The River" spoke to all the passengers  and explained in detail, especially to the young people whose questions were more persistent, his exact positions.

Yesterday, however, Mr Theodorakis gave an answer to all those who have targeted "The River" and attack its officials via the Internet, with a text which he uploaded on the website of the party. More specifically, Stavros Theodorakis stated that political “Trolls” have been attacking the accounts of the officials of “The River”, making vile accusations and threats. His text is entitled: Game of Trolls: We may be romantics, but we are not naive. 

In Brussels

Upon their arrival in Brussels, Greek journalists were surprised by the fact that most of the European parties and political teams of the European Parliament, were trying to secure an alliance with “The River”!

Most political teams in the Parliament seek to benefit from the expected success of Stavros Theodorakis in the upcoming elections, from Hannes Swoboda of the Socialists and Democrats, who said he would like Stavros Theodorakis in his political team to the Greens and the Liberals of Guy Verhofstat.

The mission of the party which, apart from Stavros Theodorakis, included the MEP candidates Kostas Argyros and Nikolas Yatromanolakis, as well as the photographer Olympia Krasagaki met also with the Euro-socialists candidate for the presidency of the European Commission and current president of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz.

In the meantime, most Greek MEPs view Stavros Theodorakis as a political force, a fact which surprised all the political teams, making them pursue an alliance with him.
