The Democratic Left Party calls for explanations by the government

The Democratic Left Party (DIMAR), has called on Prime Minister Samaras and the government to give explanations on the “political games” played with ulta-right party Golden Dawn, after P. Baltakos' resignation and his connection with Golden Dawn Member of Parliament, Elias Kasidiaris.

According to the opposition party, the taped conversation between the two politicians records a semblance of the behind-the-scenes games between the New Democracy party and the far-right party.

DIMAR spoke about the political issue involving people so close to the government's core, underlining that the PM had a close political figure like Mr. Baltakos,despite the fact that the latter's overall stance had irritated the democratic public opinion.
 

His statements that he was “born an anti-communist and die an anti-communist” are still fresh, as well as, his fierce fight to block the the anti-racist draft bill, DIMAR underlined.
