Share capital increase for Piraeus Bank was exceeded as well

The Piraeus Bank increase was also exceeded, as it had opened an offer book to collect 1.575 billion euros from abroad. The book was closed late in the afternoon yesterday and the official announcement is expected today.
 
According to information, the offers have exceeded the amount of the increase directed abroad by 1.5 times, which means that the gathered tenders reached 2.3 to 2.4 billion euros.
 
According to the same sources, the price of new shares is determined at 1.72 to 1.75 euros. It should be reminded that the bank will cover 10% of the increase (175 million euros) from the inside.

The issue price for the new shares of Alpha Bank closed at 0.65 euros after the book building held yesterday with the bank officially announcing that "there was significant investor interest in acquiring 1,846,153,846 new shares at a price of 0.65 euros per share."
 
As newmoney.gr reported, the amount requested by the Alpha Bank was exceeded twice as the offers reached a total of 2.3 to 2.4 billion euros.
