ELSTAT: New reduction at 8% in household incomes
From 33 billion euros to 30.4 billion euros - Mainly due to the reduction of workers salaries by 9.9% and household benefits by 8.2%
A decrease of 8% was recorded to the income of households and non-profit institutions serving households (NPISHs) in the third quarter of 2013, from 33 billion euros to 30.4 billion, compared to the same period in 2012, according to new figures released by ELSTAT (Hellenic Statistical Authority).
The reduction in revenue is mainly due to a decrease of 9.9% of workers salaries and 8.2% of social benefits received by households.
