Stournaras for Troika: The delay of its arrival is convenient for us too
To have the final figures of December which will be better than expected, the FinMin explained
Yannis Stournaras had a meeting with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras at Maximos Mansion.
Exiting the presidential office the FinMin said they discussed the troika and the overall developments. “I briefed him on the execution of the budget and the planning for the next eurogroup meetings.”
Asked about the new delay in the arrival of the troika he said he is not worried at all "because we too seek to delay it for a while to have the final figures of December which as it seems will be better than what we and the troika expected."
