SYRIZA sees the scandals as a catalyst of political developments
SYRIZA sees even a hastening of early elections in 2014 by the revelations of huge scandals which amplify, it believes, the downward course of the government.

The opposition party brings back the scenario of early elections, even as the Greek government's attempt to break away from the current stalemate and the relentless pressure posed by corruption.

SYRIZA believes there is governmental instability caused by these cases, as "the government is faced with its policy, which has dismantled the memorandum power block. A sample of the "power vacuum" being formed is the impetuous emergence of criminal investigations for the past scandals that affect the current era, like the TT loans, which take down with them people and situations of the FSF, revealing the interweaving of persons of the bipartisan political system with major TV station owners and businessmen, who annotate the crisis of the once mighty banking system. If the case the Tsohatzopoulos May 2012 was the final blow for PASOK, the new scandals with armament programs and banks can entrain New Democracy in an abyss of disrepute."

Within this climate SYRIZA is determined to capitalize on scandals and raises a number of questions, especially for the handling of Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras and the Governor of the Bank of Greece for the TT. Especially for Stournaras, it calls for his resignation because he has not removed from her position FSF head Sakellariou who is one of the accused in the TT scandal.
