While many areas of Greece count their losses, like Argos where a 55-year-old lost her life, the weather will further deteriorate from tomorrow Tuesday at the eastern and southern regions of Greece, according to a flash bulletin of the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

More specifically:

Tuesday, December 3:

Transient snowfall in western and central Macedonia and Thessaly initially in the highlands and gradually in areas with an altitude of 400-600 meters. The phenomena will stop in the evening.

Snowfall will occur in central and eastern mainland, Evia and Peloponnese, initially in the highlands and in the afternoon in the lowlands as well.

Northerly winds will strengthen to the east and south in 7 to 9B and central and northern Aegean to 10B.

Temperature will drop by 6-8 degrees from north to south.

 
Wednesday, December 4:

Heavy showers and thunderstorms in the Cyclades, Crete and Dodecanese and snow in the mountains of Crete.

Weather phenomena will quickly stop in eastern Sterea, Evia and Peloponnese.

Gradually in the afternoon northern winds of the Aegean will decrease but temperatures in the east will remain low with frost in the north at night and early morning.
