The auditors want data for the tanks that will provide the next 12.5000 civil servants
The meeting of the Administrative Reform minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with Troika that was scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed. According to reports, the auditors gave no explanation for the reasons of postponement to the leadership of the ministry.
In the last meeting the two sides took stock of the first mobility wave of 12,500 employees and 2,000 first layoffs by the end of September. Also, the ministry gave data for the assessment of public sector structures, which were about 410,000 civil servant positions.
The first impression of Mitsotakis’ partners is that the data provided by the ministry meet the Greek government agreements with its lenders.
Specifically, the representatives of Greece’s lenders want information regarding the tanks which will provide the next 12,500 civil servants for the mobility program and the next 2,000 that will be fired. Reportedly, the local government will lift the heavy burden of mobility. Also in the Healthcare sector there will be a large number of employees who will be moved from the hospitals in the periphery and the primary care sector. Fewer civil servants will be moved from various government entities.

Regarding the evaluation the Administrative Reform ministry has requested an extension of two or three months, so that the procedures be completed by February or March, instead at the end of the year.
Finally, in relation to the layoffs, the request of Greek side is to include the civilian defense industry personnel and the fixed term employees that remain in the public sector under temporary court rulings.
