Terrorist attack on Proto Thema
Masked men with sledgehammers raided the offices of the newspaper and endangered the lives of tens of workers - PROTO THEMA: We will not be terrorized by anyone
The offices of "Proto Thema" received a fascist, terrorist attack by a group of masked men.
Shortly after 8 pm Thursday a handful of helmeted men armed with bats, sledgehammers and hammers approached the newspaper's offices, who had tens of workers at the time and began to engage in blind vandalism. Initially they turned against the vehicles parked on the road and then began to break the glass panels of the entrance of the building and throw black, red and white paint.
Workers at the entrance managed to close their doors, and it is quite fortunate that there were no injuries from the blind hit by the hooded perpetrators.
The attack lasted a few minutes and the masked men who fled on foot, leaving behind flyers that wrote "STATE MASS MEDIA NEO-NAZIS ALL SCUM WORK TOGETHER. RAGE FOR PAVLOS FYSSAS."
The attack on the "Proto Thema" newspaper that is an attack against the freedom of the press has been condemned by the entire political world.

"Proto Thema has been targeted for some time now," the newspaper editor Themos Anastasiadis said, referring to the attack Thursday night on the newspaper offices in Maroussi.
Speaking on George Tragas at the Extra 3 TV channel, Anastasiadis added that each time there is a different reason for each attack.
Commenting on Tragas’ words, who said that the reason for the attack was the previous Sunday headline with the photo of Pavlos Fyssas, Anastasiadis said the newspaper did its dutyand in any other country of the world this picture would have been up for prize.
Proto Thema, from its first issue, has won numerous certificates commitment to journalistic ethics by its vast readership and therefore will not be intimidated by dark people who hide behind hoods and are motivated by expediencies.
