Those who delay installments will also enter loan settings

Development deputy minister Thanassis Skordas announced the inclusion of those who delay payment of their loan installments in the bill for favoring borrowers with performing loans, provided there is no notice of termination on the loan agreement.

During the process of the second reading of the bill in the parliamentary committee on Production and Trade, Skordas added that he intends to amend the article for loans towards disabled persons so that favorable regulations will include borrowers with a disability of 67% or more.

The program provides that borrowers who meet certain income, property and social criteria for their mortgages, will be included in a payoff program with a grace period of a maximum of 48 months, during which special rules will apply.
