In an interview at Imerisia’s Saturday edition and among other issues, Antonis Samaras speaks of dismissals of civil servants and the recapitalization of banks.
 
The Greek premier talks about layoffs of perjurer employees and that "the Constitution does not prohibit firing of State officials whose position is terminated."
 
He adds that the recapitalization of banks is assured by the end of April and that "as of May we will start to have liquidity."
 
He says "no" to de-Hellenization of the banking system and states that he wants the consolidation without any oligopolistic phenomena.
 
Samaras guarantees there will be no taxation on all deposits even in those exceeding 100,000  euros and hints towards the possibility of a reshuffle, by saying "we all want to do a better job. And when we are ready we will make the needed changes."

He also answers Alexis Tsipras, saying he has no objection to form a common strategy, "but you cannot have a common strategy with someone who undermines your every step."
 
He mentions his to relationships with his coalition partners, sets the tone for the privatization explaining what will happen in the case of DEPA, talks about his relationships with Greece’s lenders and the problems dividing the European North from the South, while acknowledging that Greece took its lessons from the situation in Cyprus.
