The Greek government came to an agreement with troika for the filling in of positions in the public sector that will be emptied due to removal of perjury public employees
The Greek government came to an agreement with troika for the filling in of positions in the public sector that will be emptied due to removal of perjury public employees.
For each civil servant to be removed the Greek government can appoint another to fill the void.
This agreement aims to encourage quality improvement of public services and show the implementation of meritocracy and efficiency rules.
The substitution will not concern the positions that were left vacant by retirements or other reasons, but those that emptied because the public employees that were covering them were charged with disciplinary or other misconducts.
Government officials have originally estimated that 1,000 civil servants are heading towards removal, and based on the agreement the substitution will continue as high as the final number of perjurer employees reaches.
