Dalara: Greece will return to the markets in 2014
Speaking on Bloomberg on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Dalara appeared optimistic about the prospects of Greece.

Speaking on Bloomberg on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Dalara appeared optimistic about the prospects of Greece. "If it continues to implement the measures normally, I believe that by the end of 2014, early 2015 the latest, Greece will be able to return to the markets," the banking lobby spokesman said in response to a relevant question.
"This government shows it can manage and I think if it goes ahead unobstructed, it will be able to restore the climate of confidence in the Greek economy," the IIF chief said.
His comment comes at a time of significant buying interest from investors in Greek state bonds in the secondary market and the Athens Stock Exchange records a significant rally. The performance of the ten-year Greek bond has dropped to the lowest levels since July 2010, at 10.39%, taking along the spread at 883.8 points.
