Samaras: It is not just about the fate of Greece, but the Eurozone too

"The successful completion of the effort for the Greek issue in the coming days does not concern only the future of Greece, but the stability of the entire Eurozone as well," said prime minister Antonis Samaras about the Eurogroup yesterday, and added that "the difficulty in any technical solution does not excuse any laxity or delay."

Samaras also said that "Greece has done all it had committed itself to doing. Our partners and the IMF must play their part now."

The PM leaves for Brussels today to participate in tomorrow's EU summit on the EU budget for 2014-2020. Although the issue of Greece and the Eurozone debt crisis is not on the agenda, it may be discussed and the prime minister will promote Greece’s stance about a decision. Tomorrow Samaras will meet with Eurogroup chairman Jean-Claude Juncker.
