UPD:
A new week of strikes begins tomorrow along with the filing in parliament and the voting on the new harsh measures. GSEE and ADEDY have announced a 48-hour strike on Tuesday and Wednesday, and many sectors have already announced their participation. The chorus of protests opens tomorrow by the workers on steady track transport, taxi owners, clinicians, lawyers and employees in the mass media.
Specifically, the Metro, ISAP and Tram will be docked tomorrow. Their relevant notice speaks of repeated strikes starting on Monday November 5, the day of the filing of the measures in parliament. The same day, the STASY employees will meet to determine their stance concerning the 48-hour strike by GSEE-ADEDY on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Panhellenic Rail Federation (POS) has already announced that it will join the strike on Tuesday and Wednesday. This probably means the cancellation of all evening services on Monday 5/11/2012 and all routes on Tuesday 6/11/2012 and Wednesday 7/11/2012.
Also, taxi owners are proceeding to repeated 24h strikes from tomorrow, because they denounce the multi-bill for including an article that "effectively removes part of the transport work" of taxis.
Ships will remain tied at the ports on Tuesday and Wednesday as the Board of the Panhellenic Maritime Federation (PNO) decided to participate in the 48-hour general strike.
In the Health sector, the Federation of Unions of Greek Hospital Doctors has declared a three-day strike from tomorrow until Wednesday, even suggesting to the unions of the private and public sector a lasting strike throughout the duration of the parliament debate on the measures and the budget.

Also, by decision of the Panhellenic Pharmacists Association which participates in the nationwide protests, pharmacies across the country will be closed this Wednesday.
Bank workers, OTOE and OME-OTE will also join in the 48-hour strike.
Due to the amendment for inclusion of ETAM-MM in EOPYY, media employees are going on a 24-hour strike tomorrow. Their announcement reads that "employees in the MM are fighting alongside all workers, wage earners and pensioners, to overthrow the memorandum policies that lead us to misery." They have also announced a work stoppage for Tuesday from 10 am – 2.30 pm and on Wednesday from 4 pm to 7pm.
The plenary assembly of lawyers associations that met in Athens decided on a five-day abstinence starting tomorrow until Friday.
Demonstrations and rallies
Two rallies are planned for Tuesday. At 10.30 PAME will meet in Omonia followed by GSEE and ADEDY, gathering at 11.00 at Pedion tou Areos.
They will repeat their rallies on Wednesday too, the planned day for the vote on the new measures. GSEE and ADEDY will meet in Syntagma at 5.00 pm and PAME in Omonia at the same time.
