UPD:
On Monday September 17, pharmacies in the country - except those in Attica - will normally serve the insured at the National Organization of Health Services (EOPYY), giving medicines on credit.
Only the Attica pharmacists differentiated their stance from the decision of the PFS. As the president of the Pharmaceutical Association of Attica Kostas Lourantos told the Athens News Agency, pharmacists in the Attica basin will continue not giving drugs on credit indefinitely, until the EOPYY debts from 2011 are repaid and a complete settlement schedule of all 2012 debts is provided.
In a statement issued after the general assembly of the PFS administration, it is emphasized that the credit from companies to pharmacies, the clearing of debts and the settlement of old debts remain critical issues for the industry. Pharmacists seek to solve the above issues, which they say will be the subject of dialogue with the ministry of Health in the coming days.
