Polish national arrested for the double murder in Sepolia

Police proceeded to arresting a Polish national for the horrific double murder that took place in Sepolia, Athens, on Wednesday while officers are still looking for two more people.

At 10 am on August 15, the residents of Agiou Meletiou str in Sepolia saw blood on a garbage bin and upon lifting the lid, were faced with a gruesome finding.

One Polish national was found dead from a knife wound in the neck. But another body was discovered right across the street from the garbage bin, in a ground floor apartment. Officers found it when they saw that the apartment door was open and went in to investigate.

A strong police force arrived on the scene, sealing off the area at the junction of Agiou Meletiou and Admittou near the ILPAP depot, along with a forensics specialist who tried to clarify the cause and time of death of the two foreigners. Apparently, it is a case of settling scores.
