Police authorities were faced with the gruesome discovery of two dead people in the morning of August 15.

Police authorities were faced with the gruesome discovery of two dead people in the morning of August 15.
The body of one immigrant was found in the centre of Athens, inside a garbage bin at the junction of Agiou Meletiou and 82 Admittou, while the second one was discovered in a ground floor apartment in Admittou.
Their nationality is still unknown but first estimations point to them being Polish or Rumanian immigrants.
So far there is no information as to how these two people met their deaths.
Right now, the junction of Agiou Meletiou and Admittou at the location of the ILPAP hackstand has been closed off by police officers. A forensic specialist is at the crime scene trying to clarify the cause and time of death of the two immigrants.
Hellenic Police are looking at all possibilities.
