Uncollected OAEE debts reach 2 bil. euros
According to data from the Insurance Organisation for the Self-Employed,almost one in two members (45%) is unable to pay their contributions, while of the approximately 300,000 former debtors only 28,000 have joined the last settlement for outstanding debts...
The accrued debts stand at 2 billion euros and OAEE is looking for approximately an additional 220 million for the August payment of pensions and bonuses.
According to information, the administration of the fund might proceed to searching for confirmed debts even through the activation of enforced levy collection and other measures against contribution evasion in cooperation with the tax authorities.
Based on the Agency's budget, revenue from insurance contributions is expected to reach 1.487 billion in 2012, when the 2011 budget estimate was for 2.137 billion euros. The fund’s revenue is estimated at 4.311 billion euros in total, while its expenses stand at 5.133 billion.
