reiterated his agreement with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, saying
there will be no Eurobonds as long as he is alive.
However, unlike Merkel, Schäuble was careful to leave an open window for dialogue, and said he may consent only if there is further consolidation.
"Eurobonds, if they become perceived as Eurobonds without a common fiscal policy and without shared responsibility, are not something I want as long as I live," Schäuble said according to Reuters.
