Venizelos: Those who criticize during the battle have thrown themselves out of PASOK

“What is a bipole? Where will this confrontation lead? To a New Democracy government or a SYRIZA government? To a government with a ND backbone faced with 2/3 of Greeks? To a SYRIZA government also faced with 2/3 of Greeks?” Evangelos Venizelos asks himself and characterizes the ND-SYRIZA bipole as artificial.
According to what Mr. Venizelos said in an exclusive interview on protothema.gr’s webtv, the solution is “the strengthening of PASOK and a government of national and joint responsibility”.

“Otherwise the place is going to be ruined”, warned PASOK’s president.

Mr. Venizelos sees that there is a problem of national division and notes that Greece is in danger from itself. “What Golden Dawn? The phenomenon of the Golden Dawn is not a decadent phenomenon? What is it? Violence in politics, the tension, the jeering, the anti-rallies were not brought into civilian life by Mr. Michaloliakos or Mr. Kasidiaris. They were brought in by the Left, a particular populist radical idea”, said Venizelos.

Those criticizing PASOK during the battle are excluded from the party.

Evangelos Venizelos likened Yannis Ragoussis to the son who kills his parents and then asks for mercy.

Venizelos reproaches the former secretary and minister in Papandreou’s government “for bottomless political audacity and political immorality”. Speaking on protothema.gr, he was questioned about the matter of executives of the former PM who are now criticizing. “These people are not in the party”, he underlined! Replying as to the burden of 2004 lifted by G. Papandreou, the PASOK president spoke of a “holocaust”. “Leat the Auschwitz prisoners go home”, he noted. He underlined that the country is in danger, that it borders on catastrophe and that the only solution is a government of joint responsibility…

All those who exploit suicides are “ridiculous”!

“Suicides are a phenomenon inherent not only to the economic crisis, but also to the climate of deep frustration that exists” observes Mr. Venizelos, and says: “But we must not toy with the peoples’ pain. We must respect their existential crisis, which must make us deal with long-term history.

Because if a desperate existential act by any human being becomes the subject of partisan exploitation, then we are totally ridiculous as a country. We are ready to throw everything that has to do with human life into the political meat grinder”.
