Confrontation between ND and SYRIZA is increasing

ND spokesman Yiannis Michelakis accused SYRIZA of the fact that one of its members, Ifikratis Amyras in particular, is publicly inciting citizens to urban guerilla warfare. There is a video that shows Amyras asking people to arm themselves and proceed to arsons and occupations.

More analytically, Michelakis said "today’s revelation that SYRIZA member Ifikratis Amyras invites groups of civilians to proceed to urban guerrilla warfare, obtain guns, knives, axes, Molotovs, perform executions, burn public buildings, kidnap other citizens, etc is quite shocking. It seems that he maintains a special relationship with SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras. Initially he was included in the SYRIZA ballot in the A’ district of Athens, as confirmed by an official press release to the media, but after the uproar he discreetly retired but was never struck off. Even so the citizens have understood. The shock caused to the Greek public by SYRIZA and its outcast elements, as supporters of terrorist Koufontinas, or as mentors for urban guerrilla warfare, has shaken the Greek people. But such practices will not pass."

SYRIZA’s answer was as follows: "Ifikratis Amyras has as much relation to SYRIZA as ND has with reality and credibility, which is absolutely none. Unfortunately for them, the line between ridicule and panic is quite indistinguishable for New Democracy and Samaras."
