Shock after Kasidiaris' punches against Liana Kanelli

Unprecedented wild scenes took place moments ago on a live broadcast on ANT1 TV during George Papadakis' morning news show.

Golden Dawn spokesman Elias Kasidiaris got up from his seat and punched Communist Party parliamentary candidate Liana Kanelli. This was preceded by an intense debate, where Kanelli called Kasidiaris a "dirty fascist."

The TV host tried in vain to hold back Kasidiaris as he started swearing and hitting Kanelli. Just before doing so, he had thrown a glass of water at SYRIZA parliamentary candidate Rena Dourou.

Liana Kanelli spoke of “political beasts of 2012. We will not be turned into soap by people like Kasidiaris! It is a matter of culture. May his mother and those who voted for him enjoy him!” “I was punched when I tried to protect Ms Dourou!”, Kanelli erupted.

“You cannot pretend that some things don’t exist, it’s what we have been saying for years!”, Dourou said.

According to information conveyed by journalist Antonis Delatollas, chief Misdemeanors Prosecutor Eleni Raikou said she will take all legal steps necessary for the arrest of Elias Kasidiaris.

"They are the modern Nazis! Only euphemistically can they be called human!" said Panos Skourletis from Synaspismos.

According to information, when the TV station interrupted the show, Golden Dawn spokesman Elias Kasidiaris tossed his microphone on the ground and tried to leave. The same sources from ANT1 claim that some technicians tried to stop the Golden Dawn spokesman and during the struggle, one of them fell on a glass pane which shattered.

Following that, according to the show's editor in chief Antonis Delatollas, Mr. Kasidiaris used his phone and "ordered" 100 members of the party to go to the ANT1 HQ in Kantza, while he never stopped taking pictures of the studio, as well as all the people near him.

Police officials took statements from the eyewitnesses of the incident.
