Alexis Tsipras of SYRIZA sends “defiant message” to creditors

Using strong language and without unnecessary maneuvers, Alexis Tsipras makes clear that in case Greece’s lenders stop the money inflow, the country will cut debt payments.

A more “growth-oriented” plan is what the Left leader suggested to the European heads - who have been shaking a finger at Greece during the past two years - instead of firing threats against it regarding the loans the country has received from them and the need to pay them back.
