Tsipras: Schäuble, you vote for Samaras and Venizelos
SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras launched an attack on ND and PASOK from Thessaloniki. Once again he urged the Greek people to use their vote to pave the way for a new coalition power of the Left...
He referred to the German foreign minister Wolfgang Schäuble and admonished him by saying "all of Greece and Europe are watching you. Your voice of dignity and subversion worries our lenders. Schäuble is afraid, too, of your verdict. We know that he wishes and works for Samaras and Venizelos to win. If he wants it so much, I am telling him to come and vote for them himself. But he must know that now he will no longer have those who are on the Siemens lists facing him. He will have the Greek people. It is their time now".
He argued that he will denounce the loan agreement and the memorandum and issued a call to the 2009 PASOK voters. "You did not fight for this memorandum party. You never believed in neoliberalism."
He also attacked Antonis Samaras, saying that he "is trying to retrieve from the chest of history the dividing lines of the Civil War, to hide his responsibility for the capitulation to the memorandum of servitude."
Referring to KKE, he said that PASOK and ND are taking advantage of the stubbornness of some leaders of the Left, especially of KKE, calling upon "every communist to give the fight of unity. KKE is not our enemy. Our enemies are Samaras and Venizelos."
Lastly, regarding the Democratic Left he said "I do not understand Fotis Kouvelis’ insistence on refusing the proposal for a government of the Left when he recently spoke about the need for a progressive government."
