SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras spoke about the criticality of the vote in the elections of May 6, stressing that his party "can make the difference."
Speaking on SKAI TV, Tsipras reiterated his proposal for cooperation among the parties of the Left, accusing Papariga and Kouvelis of being unaware of the historicity of these moments.
"What
is at stake here is the Left. If we go to the elections united, we will
leave the second party far behind," he said characteristically.
Addressing the citizens, he said that "if they want to see what it's like to have their pension at a humiliatingly low level they need only to vote for Venizelos or Samaras. The have signed for such measures and are simply taking a break due to the elections."
Tsipras argued that there are two ways; the way of the memorandum, which is destructive, and the way proposed by SYRIZA, which is difficult, but is a path of social justice and recovery of national dignity.
When asked accordingly, he described equal participation in the euro area as a powerful bargaining tool for our country, noting that the governments of Papandreou and Papademos have utilized this "weapon."
