The Athenian MP realizes that many PASOK supporters are angered, but poses a dilemma: “We will either go through the painful effort of saving the country or we will roll back to destruction.”

- Polls suggest that the two big parties cannot receive a clear majority. Could a country be governed like this?

Absolutely, I considered this a sure thing! The Greek people are not willing to see their sacrifices go down the drain. They are very intelligent, brave and strong so as not to step back the last minute, succumbing to false announcements about the magic solution, the one everybody shares but none of them says out loud. Does anyone believe them? I think that the voters will give full support to powers which have governed the country with consistency and pledge to bring things back to normal, setting Greece on an upward orbit. In order for this positive development to take place the day after the elections we, representing PASOK, are also asking for the Greek people’s vote.
