PASOK in uproar over text supporting Papandreou's candidacy!

Embarrassment and annoyance has been caused in PASOK by the initiative of strangers to post a text online, calling members and friends of the movement to support George Papandreou’s candidacy for the leadership of the party.

The initiative took place without the knowledge of the party leadership, and certainly without any approval by Mr. Papandreou's environment, as sources state. Although initially this action was taken more as some marginal effort to sabotage the process of the party elections on March 18th, things seemed to take a more serious turn when it was revealed that electronic traces suggest that the initiative was launched by the… PASOK headquarters.

Someone of the employees or officials of the party had this bright idea, then turned it into a blog and a Facebook page, resulting in uproar at the Hippokratous Street offices  since no one can appreciate the scope and focus of the initiative.
