The former is minister of Infrastructure and the latter served as deputy minister of Maritime Affairs; both are expected to announce their decisions in the coming hours, thus formally closing the "LAOS" chapter in their political career. According to the latest information, the official announcement will take place at 10:00 to 11:00 am on Friday.

The two politicians voted in favor of the memorandum measures and the debt restructuring, thus differentiating their stance from the official LAOS directive.
It is worth noting that given Samaras’ decision not to include ND MPs as ministers in Papademos’ government, Voridis will have to resign in order to join ND.
Lastly, there were rumors of a similar move by LAOS MP Athanasios Plevris; however, there is no further development in this issue.
