The contacts for the restructuring of Greek debt are in full swing and along with them, protothema.gr is informed that an emergency meeting between PM Mr. Lucas Papademos and Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos has been scheduled for 22.00 tonight.
Earlier, Mr. Venizelos had appeared optimistic about the progress of negotiations on the participation of the private sector in the “haircut” while at noon, Commissioner of Finance Mr. Olli Rehn had left open the possibility of triggering compulsory participation clauses, concerning the bondholders of the Greek bonds exchange.
