Reichenbach meets with "VIPs"

A meeting with 25 CEOs of leading companies from the Greek market will be held by “Chancellor” Horst Reichenbach at ten in the morning on Wednesday, at the GMA building, in order to hear their problems and discuss labor and bureaucratic issues they may raise. Mr. Reichenbach will be accompanied by his entire task force so that they may hear firsthand the issues faced by the country’s employers.

This is a questionable initiative because it seems that Mr. Reichenbach is exceeding his powers and carrying out institutional contacts with private market representatives instead of with the institutions of domestic entrepreneurship which negotiate national collective agreements.

Moreover, according to exclusive information, this action has caused a huge reaction by BSE members, who see themselves being bypassed. It is also clear that Mr. Reichenbach is attempting to change his status with informal meetings, not keeping his promises for a “soft” presence in Greece and working as a super-minister in specific matters.

It should be noted that in this meeting there will be entrepreneurs and executives from across the market with a complete coverage of all key sectors of the economy.  Namely, the German technocrat will operate as a … PM or a minister on the TIF podium, who speaks directly to the production sector.

Obviously, this prompts questions as to whether there would be no official reaction from the government because as is known Mr. Reichenbach’s official main concern is that of cooperation with government ministers and providing expertise and not such initiatives ...
