Venizelos: the Troika will come when we sign

Finmin Venizelos said that the Eurogroup had a positive outcome.

"The Eurogroup gave a very warm welcome to the recent political developments in Greece, and in particular the decision of the two major parties to support a government with a mandate to implement the decision of October 26.

From today's Eurogroup meeting we saw that the Eurozone as a whole is ready to implement the decision of October 26, starting from the early release of the 6th tranche, as long as the new government and the political forces that support it confirm the country's commitments in writing. Shortly after, the Troika will come to Athens for the necessary consultations leading to the new program.

Moreover, the Eurogroup decided to move on with all procedures relating to private sector involvement (PSI) in the new scheme of the long-term sustainability of the Greek public debt, decreasing it by 100 billion, that is by 50 GDP percentage points".
