Take the memorandum and go, Mr. Papandreou!

"Both his own statements and those by Merkel and Sarkozy revealed that Papandreou showed them that there is supposedly a challenge in Greece concerning keeping the country in the EU and the Eurozone. It is evident that such a problem does not exist and Papandreou is trying to create it himself, suddenly and via vile disinformation." 

According to the ND spokesman, "the only problem is whether Papandreou will remain as prime minister; a man who dares to question the central national strategic choice of the European course and perspective of the country, a choice that was mapped out and can only be guaranteed by the party of New Democracy." 

 
"Papandreou is dangerous and must go!" Michelakis concluded. 

Following Samaras’ assertion that Papandreou is on a dangerous and risky political course, ND is searching for other ways to induce political developments.  

Despite the fact that the ND leadership is waiting for developments from the PASOK PG, they are also discussing the acceptance of a proposal to set up a short-term government of national rescue, which will negotiate the agreement and lead the country to elections.
