Two things will dominate Papandreou’s meetings with ministers: how the latter will be relieved by talking to the PM and how to persuade them to continue the government's work. According to information, Papandreou will mention that:

- the French and Germans still disagree on the solution to the Greek problem, and this makes our future uncertain
- The Troika’s condition for us to receive the sixth tranche is the approval of the multi-bill on redundancy, the new payroll, new taxes, etc.
- if the smooth financing of the country is ensured, he is willing to discuss a coalition government, elections, everything…
- for Papandreou, the postponement of the summit is another sign that Europe expects Greece to enforce the new laws before proceeding with a brave haircut

The consequences for citizens
The political developments that will be triggered will depend on two factors: the impact on banks and the impact on citizens.

The nationalization scenario for the former and that of pauperization fo the latter will obviously lead to clashes. The government is anxiously waiting for the citizens’ response to the famous hike in property through the PPC bills. Special contributions filled the public coffers in September, but the question is whether there is any money left for households.

Today’s schedule of the Prime Minister’s meetings is as follows: Andreas Loverdos (11.00 am), Anna Diamantopoulou (12.00pm), Costas Skandalidis (1.00 pm), Haris Kastanidis (2.00 pm) and John Ragousis (3.00 pm).
