Northerly winds dying down

A slight weakening of the northern winds in the Aegean is expected to occur tomorrow, Saturday, August 27th. On Sunday and Monday the weather will be generally clear.

 In Attica, the weather will be cloudy. Winds will blow north between 5 and 6 Beaufort. The temperature will range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius

In Thessaloniki there will be some temporary clouds in the afternoon. Winds will reach 4 on the Beaufort scale. The temperature will range from 21, to 31 degrees Celsius.
     
In Macedonia and Thrace, the weather will generally be clear but during the afternoon hours clouds may appear in Macedonia. The winds will vary around 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 14 to 32 with localized 36 degrees Celsius

In the Ionian islands, Epirus, Western Central and Western Peloponnese, the weather will generally  be clear but during the afternoon clouds may develop in the north. Winds will blow easterly between 4 to 6 Beaufort and from noon onwards, a variable 3 to 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 17 to 36.

   
In Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and eastern Peloponnese, the weather will be generally clear and temperate. Temporary clouds will occur in the early hours in eastern Thessaly, while there is a chance that localized rains may occur in North Evia. The temperature will range from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius.

In the Cyclades and Crete, the weather will be cloudy. The northerly winds will vary between 5 to 6 and 7 Beaufort in the West. The temperature will range from 21 to 29, and in the south coast, to 32 degrees Celsius

In the eastern Aegean islands and the Dodecanese, the weather will be cloudy. Winds will blow north northeast 6 to 7 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius.


The weather on Sunday will generally be clear and mild. Temporary clouds will occur in the early hours in eastern Thessaly, eastern Sterea, Euboea and Crete.

On Monday a few temporary clouds are expected to occur while it is likely to rain in Crete and the southern Peloponnese. The temperature will suffer no significant change.
