Government spokesman G. Petalotis was assaulted with thrown eggs and yoghurt on Thursday evening, at a PASOK event in Argyroupolis.
Government spokesman G. Petalotis was assaulted with thrown eggs and yoghurt on Thursday evening, at a PASOK event in Argyroupolis.
Once Mr. Petalotis reached the venue, around 50 people attacked him, throwing yoghurt and eggs. The spokesman attended the event at the Elders Home alone, in his own car.
According to information, many people attending his speech rushed to protect him, surrounding him with their bodies.
Immediately, strong police forces arrived on the scene, while Mr. Petalotis entered the building to continue his speech.
