May Day weather forecast

As it seems, May will greet us with slightly cloudy skies. The forecast is for local rainfall in the western, central and northern regions, while chances of transient storms are predicted for the northwestern parts of the country.

Winds will be low initially, northwestern at 4-6B in the southeastern regions. They will slowly turn to southern, reaching 7B. The temperature will increase by only one or two degrees in most areas, but the main thing is that the low figures will rise.

The weather will be quite unstable, mainly in western and northern Greece, with rain and local storms in the afternoon and chances of rainfall in the rest of the continental regions as well. The rest of the country will see a lot of sunshine. Southeastern winds will temporarily increase and reach 7B in the high seas, turn to western in the Ionian, and decrease afterwards.

The temperature will range between 21 and 23C, but during the night it will be a bit chilly.
