These showed that the sums borrowed by Greek banks from the ECB fell to 90.4 billion euro in February 2011, from 94.4 billion euro in January 2011. The Bank of Greece has asked high street banks to submit plans that will gradually 'wean' them from dependence on capital supplied by the ECB by mid-May.
