Rainy weather throughout the week

The weather will be significantly improved this week. Tomorrow Monday, central Macedonia, Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese will have locally overcast skies and sporadic storms. The rest of the country will have cloudy skies, with local rain in Peloponnisos and possibly the mountains of the rest of
the mainland. Winds in the Aegean will reach 7B.

Cloudy skies are also expected on Tuesday, which will thicken by noon and bring local rain mainly in the central and northern parts of the country. Winds in the west will be low and variable. In the east they will be northern at 3-5B and 6-7 in the Aegean. The temperature will increase slightly.

Overcast skies with local rain are predicted for the Ionian and the mainland on Wednesday, mainly at midday and in the afternoon. Slightly overcast skies are expected in the rest of the country. Winds will be northern at 4-6B and locally 7 in the Aegean. The temperature will drop slightly.

Thursday’s forecast is for cloudy skies too, which will bring local rain mainly in the mountains during midday and the afternoon. Winds will be northern at 4-6B and the temperature will not record a significant change.

Clouds are also expected for Friday, with sporadic rainfall, mainly in the southeastern parts of the country. Winds will be northern at 4-6B and locally 7 in the Aegean, and the temperature will remain on similar levels.
