And justice shone today when the court decided that we should be allowed to continue writing about the case since we have evidence to back our reporting.

In court today Mr.Panos Sombolos, president of the Journalists Federation, testified in support of the newspaper, saying that it is a journalist’s responsibility to reveal the truth about any business or person. Many other journalists took the stand as defense witnesses.
Hundreds were the messages of support towards the journalistic team of the newspaper.
The second case in court, which is related to Mr.Raptopoulos' debts to the IKA insurance service, was postponed for 11-11-11. The case is related to the fake documents from IKA falsely stating that Mr.Raptopoulos has paid off his debts.
He is charged with ordering fake reports, along will six employees of IKA who provided him with those. Between 1999-2001 24 insurance reports were issued to Mr.Raptopoulos, although he shouldn’t have been allowed to continue business due to prior debts.
