Mild weather around the country

Snow will fall on the eastern part of the country at intervals but the weather will gradually improve. Winds will be light and thick frost will cover the mainland mainly during the morning.

The weather in Attica will be generally mild and only in the morning will some local cloud occur mainly in the east. The temperature will range between -2 and 13C, with 2-3 degrees lower in the north.

The weather will be similar in Thessaloniki and the temperature will range between -3 and 9C.

The weather will also be mild in Macedonia and Thrace. Some light cloud is predicted for Thrace which will increase during the night. The temperature will range between -6 and 9.

Light cloud, temporarily increased, will occur in Epirus, the western mainland, west Peloponnisos and the Ionian. The winds in the Ionian will be northwestern at 4-5B and the temperature will range between -3 and 14C.

Cloud that will gradually increase and bring light snowfall will occur in Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and east Peloponnisos. Winds will be northwestern at 3-5 and temporarily 6B in the east with a gradual decline. The temperature will range between -4 and 14C.

Cloud and intervals of snow will occur in Crete and the Cyclades but the weather will improve towards noon. The winds will be northern-northwestern at 5-7 and locally 8B in the east. The temperature will range between 4-12C.

Cloud and intervals of snow will also occur in the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese too, with improvement expected from the north. Winds in the north will be northeastern at 4-6B, and in the south northwestern at 6-8B. The temperature will range between 5-13C.
