The issue of the immigrants on strike is still hot

The issue of the immigrants that are still on a hunger strike continues to trouble the government, and Interior minister Giannis Ragousis has asked them to stop the strike.
 

Also, he underlined that there will not be any special treatment for these people and called upon all those who are encouraging them to stop and think of the consequences. He ruled out the possibility of all of them being legalized as immigrants.

The conflicts in Africa could possibly cause new waves of illegal immigration, making it very difficult to control the situation from both the north and south borders. The Minister said that Greece is going to ask for the help of the EU not moneywise, but to «share» the immigration numbers.
