New ticket prices as a Valentine's Day gift

A 50% rise on ticket prices on the suburban railway will occur from Monday the 14th of February, in an effort to bring income so as to lessen the debts of OSE.

Especially on the Kiato-Pireus route, passengers will now pay 12 euros instead of 8 for a one-way ticket. The return ticket will cost 18 euros. The Korinthos-Pireus one-way ticket will cost 9 euros and the return 14. Local routes of the suburban railway will also see increases.

Of course, monthly cards will also be more expensive, up to 150 euros from 120 for Athens-Korinthos.

This in conjunction with the already high prices on other public transport means which came into force on the 1st of February. The victim, of course, is the passenger since he/she is called upon to pay for taxis also with all the strikes in public transport that will continue this week.
