Fine weather throughout the country

For Monday 7 February 2011, we should be expecting sunshine and a minor increase in temperature throughout the country.

The temperature will range between 0-15 degrees in Northern Greece, 3-19 in Western Greece 3-15 in Central Greece, 5-17 in the rest of the mainland and 7-17 degrees in the Aegean and Crete.

Winds in the Aegean will be northern and moderate to strong, with a gradual strengthening to almost gale force from noon onwards. Ionian winds will be weak.

Sunshine with very light cloud is expected in Attica for Monday, with the temperature ranging between 7-17 degrees. The winds will be northern and moderate, strong from noon onwards in the South Evian Sea.

Sunshine is also expected for Thessaloniki on Monday. The temperature will range between 3-15 degrees and the winds in Thermaikos will be north-northwestern, moderate with a gradual decrease.
