A near-tragedy took place in the early morning hours during an event of the Rethymnon night school in Crete.

A near-tragedy took place in the early morning hours during an event of the Rethymnon night school in Crete.
A 25-year-old (whose wife is a student at the school) shot a 30-year-old and a 25-year-old, both of whom are school students, for no apparent reason, and then fled the scene.
The 30-year-old has been hospitalized with a head injury in the Rethymno ICU. The 25-year-old is being treated at the the GNR surgical clinic with a hand wound.
The event was organized by the school and took place in the “Tria Monastiria” area of Rethymnon.
Shortly after 4:00 am, a dispute arose due to an insignificant reason, and the 25-year-old perpetrator pulled out a handgun and started shooting, resulting in the injuries of the two people.
