The Vice President of the government, accompanied by the Under Secretary of Culture Tilemachos Chytiris, arrived at Megaron to attend an event with Maria Farantouri for the 100th anniversary of Nikos Gatsos' birth. But he encountered some antiauthoritarians who were handing out pamphlets! The young people started shouting at Pangalos and the heckling soon spread, with many members of the audience taking the side of the young men against the Vice President. In fact, the tension was such that the Hall security was called in to restore order. Most of them adorned Pangalos with many decorative epithets and slights about his weight, while reminding him of his own expressions about public servants, or the now-famous «We all feasted on the money together!».
