During the most crucial part of today’s meeting of the inquiry committee – just before the lists with the indictable former ministers were to be delivered – its members decided to adjourn, which means that the findings might not be submitted tomorrow.
The official explanation cited the absence of Dimitris Papadimoulis. A remider here that the SYRIZA MP charges that PASOK and ND are attempting to cover up the scandal. And he adds that in the final factsheet, his 49 objections/remarks have been omitted despite the fact that he was promised they would be included.
Papadimoulis’ allegations seem to have enraged Kostas Tzavaras of ND, who asked for the complainant to show up so as to determine whether they were true or not.
Eventually, this «performance» was postponed until tomorrow, but the actual reason seems to be different. In more detail, the MPs that remained in the room (PASOK, ND and Aivaliotis from LAOS) did not wish to enter the «naming» procedure without Thanasis Pafilis (KKE) and Papadimoulis.
Believing that if they opened up the discussion about which former ministers to propose for arraignment to a preliminary hearing, they would reinforce the accusations about PASOK and ND collaboration and decided to continue the meeting tomorrow with all parties present.

Pafilis stated that «we cannot accept a text with real incidents but without mention of the political choices. Our findings are ready and will be submitted separately».
